For an impatient person like me, I have to say, I find Tumblr very refreshing.
I have used wordpress, livejournal, typepad, blogger, twitter… even facebook.
Nothing comes close to tumblr.
I love wordpress, and I love twitter.
Somehow, tumblr is a cross between them.
All I need to focus on, is what content to post, and tumblr recognises it so well that it expands to a long post when needed. A short blurb, quote, link, video when required.
Wordpress can do this as well, but tumblr focuses so much on the content itself that I am able to write much more productively and at a faster rate.
I guess being focused does get rid of impatience.
And I don’t need to decide when the post should appear. It queues beautifully.
This might be the first and only time I enjoy being in a queue…
